SPORTS MEDIA GROUP TO REPRESENT TOP REGIONAL RUNNING AND ENDURANCE
SPORTS PUBLICATIONS FOR 2009

OregonOctober 7, 2008: The Endurance Sports Media Group,
Inc. announced today that it will be the official agency of
record for many of the nations most established and progressive
grassroots running and multisport publications. The 18 publications
that have committed to the Endurance Sports Media Group for
2009 and beyond serve several of the nations most prominent
consumer markets including Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and
Washington D.C.
Endurance
Sports Media will represent individually owned and operated
publications in the national marketplace with a focus on running-related
products and services and the lifestyles of those who use them.
Print and digital advertising will be part of the scope
of our representation, comments Brook Gardner, Director
of National Sales and Marketing. We will represent some
of the strongest independent magazines in the running and endurance
sports industry, offering access to actively participating athletes
who are key targets to the many companies in this growing market
segment.
Regional
running publications are the cornerstone for the sports
news and promotion, said Guy Morse, Executive Director
of the Boston Athletic Association. Local races and local
runners benefit from the energy and effort that these publishers
pour into their work. In our own region, New England Runner
fills an advertising and information niche with no equal.
